PetPourri
A Musical Review about People & Their Pets
PetPourri_Bandcamp

Lyrics by Andrea Dodds
Music by Deborah Wicks La Puma

Synopsis

A musical comedy review filled with hilarious and touching song-stories of how people’s true natures are revealed by their relationships with their pets.

Creep, crawl, and flutter over to PetPourri, where fabulous songs about our four-legged, high-flying, creeping and slithering friends are awaiting you.” – Joel Markowitz, DCTheatrescene.com

History

PetPourri was originally produced as a benefit for the Playwrights Forum at Washington, DC’s Arena Stage in 1997.  It went on to be produced at NYC’s John Houston Studio Theatre in 1999 by Galaxy Stage.  A newly revised version was produced in December of 2002 at Olney Theatre in Olney, MD, under the direction of Tony Award winner Michael Rupert.   Its most recent incarnation was brought to the stage at Marymount College and the Norris Center for the Performing Arts by director Robert Marra.
